VINTAGE Walnut Hulling Line: Walnut trees produce walnuts that have both a shell and a hull.  As walnuts ripen the shell hardens and a green husk protects the nut with another layer called a hull.  The Line you see takes off the Hulls when the Walnuts are harvested and leaves the walnut kernel in the shell.  A completely different process removes the shell and recovers the kernel for sale.  This line is a Hulling Line ONLY. The main component of the plant is a 36" Jessee  Mfg. trashperator.  The Plant consists of variable speed pit elevator, 36"Jessee Trashperator, squirrel cage, 36" stick belt, Flotation Tank, Hullit Huller, another squirrel cage, 36" Jessee air leg, sorting belt and various Elevators and Conveyors. There are 60 4x4x6 drying bins with expanded metal bottoms.  Also a large Blower with a 6' Inline Burner.  QTY - 4 Nut Trailers (small bottom dump trailers) that hold about 1 ton of Walnuts. The capacity of the Huller = Approximately 6 Tons Finished Product Per Hour.
